The tension between those two when Umbridge was teaching DADA! When Hermione was all, "Are we going to actually LEARN STUFF? Cause . . . I already READ the book." and Umbridge was all, "You're going to do what I TELL you to do, little lady." I still love Umbridge, I don't care what you say! :#1:

OK, people keep commenting that "Hermione hated Trelawney, too", and I've replied that she may have disliked Trelawney and her class, but once she dropped Divination she didn't hold a grudge against her. UMBRIDGE on the other hand . . . ! Totally different.

I agree; Umbridge was incredibly infuriating, but she's one of Rowling's best-written characters. She's also the only thing I like thus far about the new movie...
