I really picture stuff like this happening with the Marauders. For James (as an only child) it's natural that his expectations for himself are high . . . but failure makes him feel like it's the end of the world. But he'll be ready for another shot tomorrow.
I started this as a picture of Lupin, actually. James just sort of . . . took over. He gets cranky when I don't draw him for a while, and somehow I just let him walk all over me. (Snape, on the other hand, doesn't usually mind getting the break . . . I wonder why?  )That's chibi Lupin, Sirius, and Pettigrew up at the top, there. |
