Today's theme - Favorite missed scenes/characters from GoF.
I'm really sad we didn't get to see Dobby and Winky in the movie, or get into the whole Hermione-SPEW-thing. I like to imagine that those two have some sort of 'thing' between them . . . or WOULD if Dobby weren't so darn WEIRD. Winky's pleading with him to just get a nice family and settle down and for the love of everything good and decent STOP WEARING CLOTHES! Then they could be together! He used to be such an elegible house elf - came from a very 'good' and 'respectable' family. But lately he's just gotten very strange. It's breaking her heart to watch it!
Dobby sort of reminds me of Mr. Weasley. He's got the weird obsession with Muggle stuff, Dobby's got his thing for clothes and freedom. They're both just weird - but lovable :aww:

Honestly, I was happy they took out the house elves. Dobby was revolting. DX
They're the Jar-Jar Binks of HP.

I like the way you draw them though, Dobby looks so pleased with his clothes the way he's grabbing those suspenders. X3

Awww, you drew them so cute! I didn't like the movie version of Dobby but was still disappointed we didn't get to see him again in the new film. I've always hoped the two free house elves would get together, but you're right, Dobby's too weird...and Winky's too drunk. I wonder if maybe Winky wouldn't be happier staying with a civil wizard family, like the Weasleys? Goodness knows Mrs. Weasley would love the extra help. I don't know how Hermione would react, though.
